Founder & CEO
Lonwabo is a Chartered Accountant and serial entrepreneur focused on building transparent financial infrastructure. He completed his articles at Absa, where he was named Trainee of the Year, and later joined the Markets business in the CIB division, covering banks as a rated equity analyst. Combining deep public markets expertise with hands-on venture building, he brings disciplined insight and founder-led execution to shaping and driving myMINT’s strategy.
Juan van Wyk
COO
Juan van Wyk is a technology executive with a background in fintech, quantitative finance, artificial intelligence, and enterprise software development. With experience spanning investment management, operational leadership, and software engineering, he has built and scaled complex technology platforms that combine advanced analytics, automation, and AI to solve real-world business challenges. His expertise lies in transforming strategic ideas into commercially viable products by aligning technology, operations, and business objectives.
As Chief Operations Officer, Juan oversees the execution and delivery of the company's strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence across product development, technology, and client delivery. With a hands-on approach to systems architecture, quantitative modelling, and AI-driven solutions, he brings a unique blend of technical depth and commercial insight, enabling the business to innovate rapidly while maintaining a strong focus on scalability, efficiency, and long-term growth.
